Who are your publications for?
Our publications are for anyone who finds them helpful. Our aim is to write good theology simply but without being patronizing.

Is Gospel Imprint just for Anglicans?
Most of our writers are Anglicans, but we write about many subjects that will have a broader appeal and we hope that our work will be shared ecumenically.

Who writes for you?
Our writers are drafted by individual theologians, and edited by a broader team. It is not our policy to credit authors of individual leaflets, but a full list of our leaflet copywriters can be seen here.

Can I put your leaflets on our church bookstall?
Yes. Please use our leaflets in whatever way that might be helpful. All we ask is that you do not charge for them, and respect our Terms of use

Why are your leaflets in black and white?

Our leaflet format is designed to be printed cheaply and locally, so we have commissioned artwork in black and grayscale. For best results, please print them on coloured card or paper, according to the colour scheme suggested on the downloads page.

How to I download the leaflets?
Information about downloading is provided here.

I can see the pages on your website, but I can’t see the leaflets. Why?
To access the leaflets, you need a pdf (‘portable document format’) reader. If you have an older computer, you may need to install one. We recommend the Adobe® Reader. If you have a slow internet connection, you are advised to download the leaflets on to your computer rather than read them on line. More instructions about downloading are provided here.

Why do I have problems when I try to print your leaflets on my printer?
Some printers, especially ink jets, print everything with a big margin on the leading edge of the page. For best results, we recommend that you print on a laser printer or, especially for large quantities, that you use a commercial printer who should be able to let you have copies cheaply. More instructions about printing are provided here.

Will more leaflets be available?
Yes. We plan to extend our range of leaflets. Check this site periodically to see what is new!

Can I buy your publications or get your leaflets by mail order or in bookshops?
You can’t buy our publications. We don’t want people to pay anything for our leaflets. If you want to print them in large quantities, please contact a local printer who can access the leaflets on line. More instructions about commercial printing are provided here.

Have you thought of making your publications available in other languages?
We hope to be able to make our publications available in Welsh and Spanish in a future phase of our work.

How do I contact Gospel Imprint?
Please use the on line feedback form. Alternatively, you can contact us by e-mail. Any postal correspondence should be sent to Gospel Imprint, c/o Affirming Catholicism, St Matthew’s House, 20 Great Peter Street, LONDON SW1P 2BU.

Why have you chosen pastel colours?
We have chosen colours that are widely available and which present a good contrast so that people with impaired eyesight or dyslexia can read the leaflets without difficulty.

Can you help me to print the leaflets on US paper sizes?
Our designs are currently formatted for European paper sizes and, for best results, should be printed on A4 cardstock. Until we can make leaflets available in a US paper size, if you do not have access to A4 paper, we suggest you print on ‘letter’, making sure that paper scaling options are set to reduce to ‘Reduce to Printer Margins’. (In Adobe Reader 7® you will need to make sure that the box ‘Choose Paper Source by PDF page size’ is unchecked under ‘File/Print …’) This will leave a large margin at the top and bottom of the page, but will ensure that the all the text is laid out as evenly as possible on American paper sizes.

Why are the leaflets in British English?
Our leaflets are currently available in one language. We hope to be able to make leaflets available in US English at a later date.
